Life is moving along… too quick lol

Well, I am very reluctant to write anything right now as I feel like there is nothing to write about. But whatever, here it comes ;)

School is about to start in like five days, I will be a junior in high school, and I have not done my summer homework. @0@!
Yes, shame on me.
The homework is for Ap US, where I have to read three chapters, take notes on each chapter, define a list of terms in my own words (basically), and fill in a chart of dates.
Yes, that wouldn’t be hard except for the fact that each chapter is huuuge and filled with sooo much info in every paragraph.
My first page and a half of notes only covered the epilogue to chapter one.

I need a new method of note taking. >.>

I tried to plan my goals, but instead I wrote out most of them and began to write about some fictional future where I take over the world or something xD. idk why lol. (boredom?)

I am supposed to be running xc on a contract this year, yikes, and taking a toon of classes. I had the option to take 8 classes this year.
But instead I am taking seven (if you count the contract for xc, and believe me I do count that as a class. Competitive running is hardcore stuff, very hard work and stiff competition.)

I am taking a drawing and paint class with my wonderful baby sister, Krystin, and hopefully  by the end of it I will be a better drawer and painter!! :P

It would be so cool to be able to design concept art for a game, application, story, anything really, on paper and then have it come together in real life!!
Kinda like how mario was originally designed.
(I believe it was drawn out as sketches, perhaps on graph paper, and I think they might’ve done every level by hand. (unless they had a computer program that used their art as sprites(Like lunarmagic <333)))

------------------------------------

On to other things, I FINALLY found a reason to play my psps, yes I have two of them, the other day.
When I originally got them, they are both psp Phats, I played two games on them;daxter, and Ratchet and Clank Size Matters :D

Aside from that, I never really played the psp’s after I beat those games (I believe I loaned Daxter to a friend, and never got to beat it (got close though, but he never returned the game I believe)).

But recently I found my psp’s, with outdated firmware(os) and found out that there was a hack for it that was relatively recent that allowed me to play homewbrew on the psp’s without the purchase of expensive pandora batteries or magic memory cards. (Or whatever they are called)

I went through the semi-convoluted tutorial here, GUIDE:How to hack ANY psp without Pandora , and then VIOLA!
It put custom firmware on my psp!!
Now I can run unsigned code on my psp!(aka homebrew!(aka games and apps made by people on the interwebz that you wouldn’t be able to use otherwise! :p))

After looking up some tutorials I then found that I could put Playstation games on the psp, and they would play!
(The custom firmware had the drm removed in the official playstation emu that was on the psp I believe, which is pretty cool :D)
I put Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Abe’s Oddysee, and Croc legend of the gobbos, all on my psp’s memory card. I spent a few hours playing croc and spyro, and it was sooo cool!! :D
(if you do happen to have cfw or just have bought the game from some sony official website or something, if you press the home button whilst playing a ps1 game then you will be able to change the screen size to fit/accommodate the screen ^u^)
No lag, no nothing. In my experience 100% perfect emulator.

I had to convert the games I downloaded to a psp friendly format, however, and used an application called ‘Popstation Gui’
(I found a tutorial on youtube with a download link in the description)
Popstation (Article With Dl Links)

Pretty slick, huh? ^3^
Oh and there is a plugin for the psp that allows you to play music while playing games, although my memory card on the psp I installed this on only holds like 4 songs xD I still installed it to test it out, and it works great!
(Semi-great, the psp seems to reach some sort of slow stuck phase when I exit a game with it on, which isn’t that big of a deal. It works while I am playing the game, and I can change the songs as I please. Very nifty :D )

So right now my favorite portable technological devices are my ipod touch and my psp due to the vast amount of applications and use (and ease of use) I get out of my itouch, and due to the wonderful awesomeness of ps1 games on a portable with a widescreen and with actual playstation buttons that I can use the play the game. Did I mention just how AWESOME that is?
No more pressing on screen buttons on a touch screen device (like android or iphone) or slow games with crappy support, just pure ps1 enjoyment and fun :D

Apple keeps putting new and awesome things into their ios software updates, like the infamous white on black setting that is on macs now on the ipod touch(under general>accessibility>)
And the Voiceover option is pretty wicked :> (aside from annoying my mamalama XD ;D)
ios 5 and the ipod touch 5th generation are going to be awesome!! :D
Supposedly the itouch 5g will have 3g, and based on an image on the uk itunes site there will indeed be 3g on the itouch 5g.

Photo:

hero20110720

See that there? That is CLEARLY a little ‘3G’ icon in the top left corner.
Why would that be on the official apple uk site??
Linky:WHAT? Evidenced on the site, even now!!

Here is the photo from the U.S. version of the website….

hero

See the difference?
Now here is the real question, who photoshopped the other picture and how did they convince apple to upload it officially? Did an insider place it there as a little hint as to what is to come?

Why do I not think it is legit?
Well, isn’t it obvious?
More than just the 3g/wifi icon changed!!
The 3g itouch has bluetooth on and has bars from a cellular network,
while the non3g itouch has wifi and WOAH!! No bluetooth, just a little playing music icon.
If the other one is an itouch 3g, why does it not have the playing music icon if it is playing music?
Obvious yet again, they used the same image but used a different image for the top part-> an image that was not of an iphone playing music at that time.

SO there you have it.
WHY on earth apple has not removed that from their website, who knows.
Perhaps they put it up there to see how we the public respond to the concept of a 3g itouch. <- very likely in my opinion, to see how much hype it gets.
(Very likely, I think,  because I have seen a ton of hype by viewers of tech blog sites posting about how they would buy yet another itouch if it had 3g for free or reasonable pricing. Plus a ton of them said it would be just awesome (although most acknowledged more than just a 3g upgrade would be nice. I am wondering if the iphone will go to 4g, while the itouch gets bumped to 3g….)

Well that is all I have for tonight!!

Good night peoples!!

Last nights Dreams

Hello,

Well I just got done doing core, and in three minutes I will be in the next day: in tomorrow, and I think it's best I write down my dreams that I remember from last night before I forget them even more!! :O

Okay first dream or so...
It's really dark out and I think I might've just come out of a building.
I am running around in my track uniform and short shorts, singlet + short shorts = track uniform,
and I see Josh running around with a yellow strip of cloth tied around his head with the two tails flowing out from behind running around too and some other unidentified guys.
(apparently it was some sort of national (?) holiday that had something to do with xc and school colors I think)
Coach Dollar, our cross country (xc) running coach, was sitting in a chair nearby and smiles and pointed at I think Josh and said something about Josh's outfit and whatnot.
There was probably more to this dream but I don't remember right now... O_o

Next dream...
I am with some people, I don't remember who or if I ever did remember who, and we are standing somewhere and it has begun to rain (?*I'm not sure if it rained but I think it did)
and then someone said something about the flood and when I look up I see cartoony sky blue water rising up in the distance and heading towards us.
Someone said something about standing on this one spot, it was a tree root coming out of the ground or something that was about a foot higher, and that we would be safe.
So I balance on the spot and the wave swooshes on by and I nearly lose my footing but am safe.
There is probably more to this dream as well, but I didn't remember much when I woke up either xD

now onto my favorite dream <3 <3

I was in some store, and the beginning of the dream was a bit vague but I think someone (perhaps Dad??) died and I was really really sad like crying a lot.
(this might of happened at the end of the dream ^^ but I don't remember)

But in any case there was this girl, I think she might've been the daughter of some guy in the store perhaps...
And this girl was beautiful! She had pale-ish skin, blond hair, and sky blue eyes (looked a bit like hannah from the movie but not really)
I leaned forward and kissed her!! :D
Then I think she and I, we fell and I kissed her another time or so!!
(and I remember thinking something like, Oh! So that's how you kiss a girl, you just go up and do it! Or something like that lol)
I think I felt like I had an erection within my dream O_O, which was rather unexpected and I think I told her something about not being the right one for her or something (I don't really remember ... :{, but I was sooo happy I got to kiss her :P :D )
Fav fav fav dream for quite a while :D
I wonder if I'll see her in my dreams again tonight? Probably not, and if I do I don't know if I will remember the dream :<

I hope I will :D

Well, that's about all for now...

Well I guess I could say this real quick.
Today was pretty awesome!
I went rollerblading, later went running through the hills for 50 minutes (ugh lol), and did some core too!! ^U^ :P
I washed some dishes, and helped my mom brush our two pomeranians (O.o poor little gals! They were not happy lol)
Alas, I did not get to read any books though @~@ :<

Oh well, I want to get to bed now because I have been staying up till like past two a.m. and waking up at 1o or eleven everyday... which is more than I need of sleep... and keeps my schedule from synchronizing with my families xD
(and they bother me because I am still sleeping. Well, my parents do.
They come in and knock on my door and talk to me and whatnot, let the dog into my room to lick my face and make me want to get up. (if I don't though, the dog will just lay there on my bed with me, until she get's bored :3 <33333)

Yesss...
Well, That is all I should write for now I guess.
Cross country training is well underway!!
Now just to update my bloggy more often and to actually do my summer homework... maybe lol.

Thanks for reading!! :}

Yours truly, <33333

*NOTE* This was too long to fit in my profile, it was a 'random question' after all, so I decided to post it here instead :P Enjoy :D

LOL, okay then...
Once upon a space without time lived a frog that was very vain and wished that he had hair like all of the beautiful humans did.
So he went out and did some shady dealings with some old witches who knew something of the matter with hair, and they gave him a potion to drink that would DEFINITELY give him hair. Well, when he got home he drank the potion and nothing happened. So he went to bed all sad and depressed realizing it was a scam and mourned the loss of valuable toadstools (which he traided for the potion)
When he awoke he discovered that he had grown hair!
He was soo excited that he jumped up and began to swim through the lake to find his friends to show off to,
but as soon as he jumped in the water his hair came off and began to float around in the water. The frog was horrified! Was his hair gone already? Did he ruin it by going in the water?
He picked up his hair and brought it back on land and plopped it on his head.
He looked at his reflection in the water and realized with a shock that the witches potion had given him hair, but the hair that it had given him was a wig!
He was sorely depressed and not at all satisfied with the idea of having a false wig, so he decided to do what any self respecting frog might have done: he went to visit the slizwhisher
The slizwhisher was the only creature on the planet that could make almost anything happen if you asked him, but he also charged steep prices that often revealed to the people that were bargaining with him that they did not really want what he had to offer them because it would not bring them the happiness or joy they had thought it would.
The frog was very aware of this and packed everything he owned, from his little froggymobile, to all the froggy outfits in his drawer.
He swam down to the bottom of his little home town lake swamp and, lifting up a hefty concealment at the bottom of the swamp, slipped down into the secret passageway leading out to the lowfrogway.(he would have used the highfrogway, but it doesn't access the home of the slizwhisher)
He went through tunnel after tunnel after tunnel.
Luckily for him he had packed the right supplies and used the tollfrogroads to get to his destination faster.
When he arrived at the slizwhisher's house he knocked on the door and against all doubt the slizwhisher answered the door!
The slizwhisher was a platypus with suppos-ed mystical abilities to help you get one thing you desired regardless of what it is (be it material or nonmaterial)
The slizwhisher spoke saying, "You are here for hair, yes, young frog?"
The frog replied saying "Yes I am. What.. what should I trade you for? I- I've got clothes! A car? Money! What do you want??"
The slizwhisher merely chuckled and said, "I desire none of your material possessions my dear."
The frog let out a huge sigh and then asked, "What do you want then?"
The slizwhisher replied saying, "Why I want to trade a trait for a trait.
You will have hair, but you will be bigger, wider, and well.. uglier than before. Would you be willing to give up your petite frog shape in order to gain hair?"
"Well... err... uhm..."
mumbled the frog.
"Would my children get the same... ugliness, and or would they get the hair?" the frog asked in a speculative voice.
"All of your seed will get your new form, but none of your seed will get any hair"
the slizwhisher said majestically with her voice echoing off the walls in harmony.
"Hmm.. okay then, I would be willing to do that deal. Yes, I agree! Let's shake on it"
the frog said excitedly.
Finally he was going to get some hair, what difference did it make if he was larger and wider? He would be beautiful and life would be wonderful!
Moments after shaking the slizwhisher's hand the frog began to shake and quake and rumble and groan.
He became all bloated, became all wide, he became... ugly!!
He then blacked out and heard the voice of the slizwhisher saying, "Remember darling, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!! Take good care of your new hair!!"
And with that the frog passed out.
...
The frog awoke back at his home with all his supplies where they were before he packed for the trip.
He remembered doing the deal, and getting the hair, and was eager to look in the water to see how he looked.
When he peeked into the water he was shocked and appalled to see what was staring back at him.
He was huge and ugly!!
His hair was beautiful, but he was no longer his handsome old self...
Yes! That's it! He was handsome before he had made the deal, what a horrible mistake he had made!!
The frog agonized over his mistake, and while doing so a foxy frog came over to him smiling and said,
"Oh baby, I love your size and would love to use your hair to make clothes in my shop! Would you be mine?"
The now bloated frog had never seen such a beautiful frog and said,
"My dear little miss,
I would love to for you to be mine and for me to be yours! Would you really love me?"
The foxy frog whispered,
"Why darling, you are unique and I'm already falling for you! My only request is that as a wedding present you let me shave your head for the rest of your life and use your hair in my clothes store"
With that the frog, though taken aback, agreed realizing that all he really ever wanted was love and that he now had love.
Two frogs lived a long and happy live giving off many offspring, which later were called 'Toads'.
This is the story of the bald frog and the wig, and how he overcame his vanity and found love. (and how he became a toad too lol, and how toads came into existence)

(Here is the 'random question'

The children are waiting! Please tell them the story about the bald frog with the wig:)

My life is here and now

Hello Anonymous and not-so anonymous readers!

I have not updated this blog in a looong while, so I think it’s about time you guys got a regular update from now on! (which I keep saying but not doing, T.T curses myself!)

Okay in my life so far…

School is almost over, I have all A’s and a B (basically)
And today is prom! (Yes, I am only a sophomore but I am going with a friend to prom who is a junior :P)
I love dancing, I think I am pretty good at it too, and it is a passion of mine.
Given the chance I will dance for hours upon end, but the style of my dancing may have you confused by the end of those many hours.
For instance, I like to dance high velocity rapidly and non-stop.
This expends a ton of energy, akin to an uber intense running work-out, and by the end of the dance I will begin to look a bit like a drunkerd.
I will be pulling out some cool moves but will also be kinda swaggering around and dropping up and down with the flow as if I were dizzy and revolving to the music.
This is because my muscles become extremely exhausted after hours of non-stop dancing, except for a little break here and there for water and oxygen.
Actually, I always get blisters all over my feet from dancing, and at a recent dance at the end of the dance my leg muscles cramped/charlie horsed and I had to sit down and stretch them. :}
Now, you may say that I am a crazy dancer, but I say that I am a crazy dancer who is good at dancing and enjoys it. I can assure you that I have the most fun out of everyone there due to my high intensity philosophy.
You just have to ride the waves of sound and match your body to the ebb and flow of the music. It’s a very emotional thing too, your whole being needs to aline itself with the music and you sometimes need to be able to predict what will happen next.
…..

Well besides that, it is obvious that I am too shy and reserved in my daily life.
I enjoy socializing with people, but I find that many of their conversations do not prompt any sort of input from me. Or, in other words, I can not think of anything to contribute to their conversations. Whether or not this is due to the lack of interesting topic material, or because I do not know what they will accept or reject as input from me, I do not know.
However, I do know that I need to find my group of people and hang with them. I need to find a group of crazy people, radicals yes, that are both kind and intelligent. People who are interesting in self-improvement and improving everything else as well.
People who love math, english, history, science, language, physical exercise, and challenges. People that push their limits and help others do the same.
People that care about each other and people that protect one another.
This may sound utopian, but it is possible to form a group like this.
The only problem is that all of these traits stem from their own personality and from their experiences with their own families, and if their families did not love them or raise them properly (and in some cases even if they did) they may not be able to have all of these criterion. This criteria may be too specific and I may be hindering the growth of those who would like to join the group.
Therefore, the only requirement to join the group would have to be a deep desire, or just a wonton, to grow as a person and change oneself.
Because we cannot help you if you do not want to help yourself.
----

On a side note, I’ve been thinking about inverse trigonometric functions and it seems to me that applying restrictions is somewhat bothersome. It bothers me that the way we have to deal with them is as restricted graphs, when I believe their full beauty should be expressed.
Let me say this,
The definition of a function is that for every x value there is exactly one y value. (for every input, one output)
And in order to get the inverse function you swap out the x and y, correct?
Therefore, the definition of an inverse function is different from that of a regular function, rather it is inversed.
An inverse function is a function such that for every Y value there is exactly one X value. (for every output, there is exactly one input)
Which is definitely true.
My teacher says the problem arises when you deal with slope in higher maths, however, I propose that with inverse functions you also inverse the slope. (delta x over delta y)
Oh and yes,
I propose you graph it differently as well. The Y axis will be horizontal, and the X axis will be vertical. And you read it from the (vertical X) axis, and across the horizontal Y axis to figure out the answers.
In this way the inverse slope would hold.
In essence, we are treating the inverse function as a function in and of itself.
But, we are keeping the integral idea of X and then Y. The Y remains as a Y and we actually change the format of reading it in this instance.
I know this may be hard to grasp as a bunch of words, but I’ll post pictures or a youtube video later :D
-----

Ahh yes, my love life.
Well, the girl I am affectionate for is already taken.
And I seem to have quite a few younger girls who are attracted to me, all of whom I treat kindly and am nice to, but all of whom I do not particularly find myself attracted to.
However, I am attracted to the personality of the person that I like.
While I like fitness and am attracted to those with the same ideals, I have liked girls who are not, well, sexy before.
Sex is merely a reproductive conduit, it does not constitute love in any manner. It is conducive of lust, however, and can spawn relationships that are feigned and based on the mans sexual desire and raging hormones.
And in such a case the man would not care for the girl as deeply as in a case where the man’s motivation was true love.
An affinity between the two’s souls.
Men can be evil, and likewise so can women, but the truth is you have to be weary of the motivation behind everything.
Are they doing what they do because they love you?
Or just to get brownie points?
For instance, in popular media and in some songs the fictional characters or in the songs the actual people say that they love the person, and the next thing you know they are talking about having intercourse with them.
!! Wait, what just happened there?
They claim love at first sight, and then they want to go straight for sex?
No, no, no! That is not love!
That is lustful desire!
You shouldn’t have sex with anyone you barely know, and you definitely shouldn’t have sex with someone who probably just wants to mate and leave you afterwords. They don’t want a serious relationship and most likely just want to mate with as many foxy mamas as the can.
Of course, there is an exception to every rule, but you can never go wrong in protecting yourself and your emotions.
People in this world often are selfish, and some who are smarter know how to play it to make themselves look and seem authentic, but once they get through your defenses their true intentions show.
The best course of action is to extend the amount of time before you decide if you trust them enough, go on many many dates in public areas that are crowded, and always bring a friend. Make it a double date.
The longer it takes the less likely it is he will be putting on an act, although it is possible his stake may actually increase if he’s desperate or determined, and the more you will get to know him.
If you want a serious relationship, and want to get married one day and have children, let him know that you are looking for a serious relationship and are remaining chaste until you get married.
Now, if he was planning on swooning you and getting you easy, he may reconsider this and if he is truly not interested in marriage or a serious relationship, if he just wants to play around and mate with you, then he may back off and go his separate way.
But if he is serious, then you two can continue dating for a while, so you can try to see what happens when his emotions are inflamed, and you should meet his parents. Make sure to learn as much about him as you can and to see if he is compatible with your idealistic view of a man.
And after a while, if he is serious, he may or may not propose.
Whether or not he makes enough money to support you and a family or if he is working to get a degree to earn enough to support a family, that is up to you to factor into your considerations.
Also, the longer you wait to have children the older your eggs get and the higher the likelihood of your children having problems like down-syndrome.
If he claims to want to marry you, but cannot back that  claim or is gun-shy, you need to decide if he truly is the man for you.
You need to talk to him, ask him about what he  thinks about it, and explain your point of view and tell him that you want a real relationship and that you cannot wait forever. (you might want to explain the whole down-syndrome likelihood thing to him too)

Either way, if the man your dating does not live up to your expectations you may need to consider reevaluating and considering other options for a spouse.
Good luck in your endeavors!

Well, I feel like I have posted a lot for one day :D
I haven’t really touched up on my own life that much, but that is okay. :}
I am more interested in your  guy’s lives anyway. :)
Thank you for reading!

Track season is underway and going strong

Hello!

This is Logan, and I thought I would update this bloggy to tell you about how my track season is going thus far.
I tried the two mile for the first time, it sucked hairy man balls and I went at basically my 5k pace, and got a time of 11:02.
I ran the mile, got 4:55 which is a pr so that's good :D
I've run the 800 and gotten 2:13 which is also a pr, and okay.
I plan on shattering most of these scores, with a hesitant maybe on the two miler lol.

I did not know that you could earn medals in track, but apparently you can O_o
If I had known that I probably would've run harder through the shin splints than I did.
(I was still running though, just being cautious of hurting myself.)

We have a ton of great runners on our team, like Ed and Ethan and Pum.
(Me too if I begin to pick up the slack :D)
------

On to things that interest me a bit more, I have been reading books lately on a variety of subjects. One on visual thinking, and it's applications in the business world, one of dreams, which is very very interesting to read, one on the history of video games, which is also interesting, one on the power of thought, one on strategic thinking, one on computer programming, a ton of ebooks, one on habits, and one on winning by quitting. (<-- the last one I am a bit adverse to reading, but I can deal with it okay. It's concept it interesting, as long as you don't misinterpret it and drop out of the important things in life)

I guess I could post a list of the books and their authors later :D

The book on visual thinking talks about using the six w's to see and to show, when drawing and observing. It talks about using the ways our minds naturally perceive things to make images that the audience will just get kinda intuitively. (with some explaining of course)
It has a couple tools for figuring out the right image to use and methods for figuring out what is best to show based on your audience.

The book on dreams talked about lucid dreaming, which occurs during REM sleep, and various methods of dream interpretation and the usefulness of dreams. The dreams can inform you and give you insights into your life and your personality. It went over methods ranging from Freud's to Jung's to newer different methods as well.

The book on video game history was talking about pinball machines as the very first beginnings of the industry, then moving on to arcade machines, then to home-tv games and with companies such as Atari, Namco, and a few others (Nintendo).
Very interesting stuff, even mentions Steve Jobs working for atari when he was a youth O-O

Well, that's all for now :D
I'll talk to you next time,

Love,

~Logan Drew Haser
