How is life? Hopefully you are pushing yourself to achieve your dreams and maximum potential, if there is such a thing as a maximum, and are enjoying the challenges and rewards of life.
Life is so beautiful, and the interaction betwixt individuals so fun at times.
Although, at this stage in my life I don't like group projects all that much.
What have I been up to?
Ya know, a million AP Calculus mock exams (in-class @~@)
A million AP Lit essays, and some AP Chem and Macroecon studying.
What else?
Well... To be honest, I also played some Minecraft and modded it too :P
(I'll post the pictures later)
Modding MC is really quite fun XD
Although, I am not following the community standards (of modders), and am modifying the base classes of the game.
(the main components if the game that the game comes with, versus adding new ones)
I also am working on my final project in programming, it's going to be epic! :D
I'm going to be writing it in Processing, the javascript first for prototyping the game engine and dynamics, and then in actual Java Processing as the project matures.
It's going to have similar aspects to both Animal Crossing and Minecraft, Mario, Legend of Zelda, etc.
So basically a giant map that you can explore, and it will have a storyline and enemies.
More importantly, it will have a plethora of options for customization :D
So users can create their own versions of a set of general objects in-game.
(trust me, it's going to be cool ;>)
For instance, if there is a shirt object in-game, then the user can make a shirt object using a well documented format and by supplying the specifications for the shirt constructor in a separate text file, which will be linked to the main text file which loads all the objects and general object types that exist in the game.
This process is going to heavily rely on OOP, and I think I might get some inspiration from modding MC.
But probably not, I am pretty self reliant when it comes to coding. :)
So yeah! I'll post pictures of what I have gotten so far! :>
This I'd going to be great!! ^u^
Thanks for reading!! :D
